Understanding + Shifting Your Stress Response

“Between stimulus and response there is a space.
In that space is our power to choose our response.
In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
- V. Frankl -

pause + notice for a moment: How does the daily hustle manifest in your body?

Do you find yourself too exhausted to move yet too restless to relax after a long day? Maybe you’re stuck in a loop of endless screen time and never-ending tasks, leaving you both physically drained and mentally tense.

Perhaps you've felt tension building in your shoulders as you try to juggle everything on your to-do list. Or noticed a tightness in your chest or a knot in your stomach as the stress piles up. These are your body’s signals that something is off - it's how your body responds to the pressures of daily life.

Stress isn’t just a mental state; it’s a full-body experience. When we’re constantly on the move, our nervous system can get stuck in high alert, leading to headaches, digestive issues, muscle tension, sleep problems, and that lingering sense of anxiety or overwhelm that’s hard to shake.

Our bodies are built to protect us by reacting to stress, but in today’s fast-paced world, this response can become overactive, leaving us in a perpetual state of “fight or flight.” Over time, this can lead to chronic stress and burnout.

If this sounds familiar, then you may like to join me in a 90-minute workshop designed to help you take a step back, understand what’s happening in your body, and explore ways to support yourself.

We can’t change what we’re not aware of, so we’ll start by recognizing these stress signals and learning how to shift from survival mode back to balance.

Let’s work together to create space for recovery and well-being in the midst of life’s demands.

Come as you are.
All is welcome here.
